Tiffin Top offers stunning views of the Himalayas and the surrounding countryside. A notable feature of Tiffin Top is Dorothy’s Seat, a memorial built in honor of Dorothy Kellet, an English painter, by her husband and admirers following her passing. Tiffin Top and Lands End are located close to each other and can be conveniently visited together.

The Tiffin Top trek is a popular activity for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers visiting Nainital.  The trail weaves through lush oak, deodar, and pine forests, offering glimpses of vibrant flora and fauna along the way. Once at the summit, trekkers are rewarded with mesmerizing 360-degree views of Nainital town, the surrounding Kumaon hills, and the majestic Himalayan range. The route is peaceful and quiet, making it a perfect retreat from the bustling town below. At the top, the trek culminates in the famous Dorothy’s Seat, a stone bench built as a memorial for the English painter Dorothy Kellet.

Trek Starting Point: The trek begins from Mall Road, where visitors can hire a guide if needed. Distance: Approximately 4 kilometers one way.
