Best time to visit Lake Pichola

The best time to visit Lake Pichola is during the winter months of October to March. During this time, the weather is pleasant with sunny days and cool nights, making it an ideal time for outdoor activities such as boat rides on the lake. In the summer months of April to June, the temperatures in Udaipur can reach up to 40 degrees Celsius, and the heat can be quite intense. This may not be the best time to visit Lake Pichola as the hot weather can make it uncomfortable for outdoor activities.

During the monsoon season of July to September, Udaipur receives heavy rainfall, and the lake can become quite choppy. It may not be safe to take a boat ride on the lake during this time, and some of the outdoor activities may be restricted due to the rain.

How to Reach Lake Pichola Udaipur

Maharana Pratap Airport, located about 22 km from Udaipur, is the nearest airport. It is well connected to major cities in India, including Delhi, Mumbai, and Jaipur. From the airport, visitors can take a taxi or a bus to reach Udaipur. Delhi to Udaipur train-There is several trains that run from Delhi to Udaipur. Some of the popular trains are Mewar Express, Chetak Express, and Ananya Express. Udaipur is well connected to major cities in Rajasthan and neighboring states by road. National Highway 48 and 27 pass through Udaipur, making it easily accessible by car or bus.
