Khirsu is famous for its scenic background from here one can see spectacular 300 km-wide panoramic views of the Himalayas, including snow-crested Trishul, Nanda Devi, Nandakot, Chaukhamba and Panchchuli peaks.

The village is surrounded by lush green forests of oak and deodar trees, which are home to a variety of flora and fauna. Khirsu Uttarakhand is a small village located in the Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. The nearest airport to Khirsu is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, which is about 142 km away. From the airport, visitors can take a taxi or a bus to reach Khirsu. The nearest railway station to Khirsu is Kotdwar railway station, which is about 115 km away. Khirsu Uttarakhand is well connected by road, and visitors can take a taxi or a bus from major cities like Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar, and Delhi. The distance from Delhi to Khirsu is about 370 km, and it takes about 10 hours by road.

The best time to visit Khirsu is between March and June when the weather is pleasant, and the flowers are in full bloom. The winter months from October to February are also a good time to visit for those who enjoy snowfall and winter sports.
