History
Jawhar’s history dates back to 1343, when it was founded by Raja Jayaba Mukne. On the opposite side of the river at Sarsun lies Dadarkopara Waterfall, which often dries up in summer, earning it the name Suka (Dry) Fall.
What makes Dabhosa unique is the way the water first gathers in a flask-shaped rock basin before cascading into a natural stone container, creating a spectacular crater-shaped bowl. The surrounding 600-feet-high cliffs are lined with dense greenery and medicinal plants, giving the site a wild, untouched charm.
