Chia is a magnificent place in the southwest of Sardinia, in the municipality of Domus de Maria Itlay. Chia is a seaside town along the coast. Chia is surrounded by rusty-red hills tufted with tough macchia. Its beaches are very popular, attracting thousands of sun-seekers, windsurfers, and water-sports enthusiasts. The area’s largest and busiest beach,  Spiaggia Sa Colonia and Spiaggia Su Portu are world famous. The area is very popular among tourists for its virgin nature and almost 6 kilometers of gorgeous sandy beaches with sea from dark blue to emerald green. Chia is a seaside town on the south-western point of Sardinia with an interesting combination of untouched nature and archaeology. Situated along a diverse coastline, from the pine forests of Santa Margherita. Chia treasure is hidden beneath the golden sands and turquoise waters and onto the open, wild promontory of Capo Spartivento. Geology of the Chia Beach Italy

Sardinia Island is located in the middle of the Central-Western Mediterranean sea. It is together with Corsica Island, is a 30 km-thick crustal block bounded by two areas affected by extensional tectonics- The Liguro-Provençal basin to the West and the Tyrrhenian basin to the East, where the crust has been stretched in the last 20 and 8 Ma, respectively. Sardinia represents different tectonic, stratigraphic, and paleontological features that have fascinated geologists. Rocks exposed in Sardinia belonging to the Phanerozoic Eras.

The destination is suitable for enjoying a relaxing holiday in a spectacular place. Chia Beach is one of the best places to go in the province of Cagliari. The turquoise sea and colored sand beaches are famous in China. Apart from these sand dunes, dotted with juniper trees is a place where visitors can spend quality time. Chia Beach is also famous for its wildlife species, a picturesque lagoon where pink flamingos are often seen. Dolphins can be seen all around Chia Beach swim. Activities in Chia Beach Italy

Various types of water sports in this area are available and the Chia Classic attracts visitors each year for the kitesurfing competition. Kitesurfing, kayaking, snorkeling, and sailing in and around Chia Beach are also world-famous. Other activities include windsurfing at Su Portu, paddle boating, and surfing. Su Giudeu is one of the best beaches for water sports including surfing, scuba diving, and snorkeling. Hikers found some wonderful trails in and around Chia with spectacular views.

This is a historic city famed for its ancient amphitheater and the Cittadella dei Musei. There are old piazzas and a beautiful Duomo too. Spanish crown built a Tower in the seventeenth century, against the incursions of the Barbary pirates, there is access to a long stretch of sand by an emerald-green sea, a true spectacle of nature. From the tower sounds of Chia’s bay is just like a storm is coming toward you.

Cicadas

Geo-tourist can walk on the Most beautiful beaches on foot, along little paths, and down steep cliffs. The deafening sound of the cicadas is the only voice until the sea appears and you can hear the waves break on the shore. Near the beach, the sea is of extraordinary blue color. There is always a bit of wind and the voices come from afar and mingle with the sound of the waves.

Immediately before the sunset, the sea becomes pink: the flamingos rise from the lagoon to return to Cagliari. People come back home and the seagulls walk on the shore.  At this time, you may find flocks of sheep that graze in the shade of eucalyptus trees.
