Travelers can take a ferry from Punnami ghat to reach Bhavani island. The ferry takes nearly 5 minutes to reach the island. From the Vijayawada Railway station, Punnami ghat is 7.5 km away and can be reached by taxi. From Vijayawada airport, Punnami ghat can be reached in 55 minutes by Cab.
