Luberon Mountain
The Luberon Mountain is a range of hills located in the Provence region of southeastern France, in the department of Vaucluse. The Luberon is part of the larger mountain range known as the Alps and has a maximum elevation of 1,156 meters. The Luberon is known for its rugged natural beauty, with its rocky outcrops, forests, and fields of lavender and sunflowers. The valleys both north and south of the mountain ranges contain a number of towns and villages as well as rich agricultural land. The highest point of the Luberon is le Mourre Nègre, the peak of le grand Luberon.
The entire Luberon mountain comes within the boundaries of a regional natural reserve- The UNESCO listed Parc Naturel Régional du Lubéron set up to preserve the unique wild landscape.

The Luberon circuit is a 52 km loop that takes riders through some of the most picturesque villages in the region, including Gordes, Bonnieux, and Lacoste. another the Grand Luberon loop is a 30 km loop that takes riders through the heart of the Grand Luberon mountain range. The trail is challenging, with steep climbs and rocky terrain, but the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside are breathtaking. How to Reach Luberon Mountain
The closest airport to the Luberon region is Marseille Provence Airport, which is served by several major airlines. From the airport, you can rent a car or take a bus to reach the Luberon. The closest train stations to the Luberon region are Avignon TGV and Aix-en-Provence TGV. Both stations are served by high-speed trains from major cities in France, including Paris, Marseille, and Lyon. Apart from this there are several bus companies that operate in the Luberon region, including LER and TransVaucluse. Buses connect major towns and villages in the region.
