History Badhoura Temple
The exact date of the temple’s construction is not known, but it is believed to be more than 1,000 years old. The legend says that one day a Farmer was working in the farmland and found that a Shiva lingas appear in the land. The farmer tries to lift the shiva lingas but he is unable to do that. He return to the home and at that very night the farmer had a dream in which Lord Shiva appeared to him and asked him to build a temple in his honor. The farmer then set out to build the temple.
Over the years, the temple has undergone several renovations and restorations. The most recent renovation was carried out in the 1980s, which helped to restore the temple to its former glory.
Shravan Month Mela
Shravan is an auspicious month in the Hindu calendar, and sacred for devotees of Lord Shiva.
