Oneuli beach black sand-Oneuli Beach is also known as Black Sand Beach due to the unique black sand that lines its shore. This black sand is formed from the volcanic rock that surrounds the area. When lava flows into the ocean, it cools and shatters into small fragments, which are then carried back onto the beach by waves and currents. Over time, this volcanic sand mixes with other materials to create the distinctive black sand that Oneuli Beach is known for.

The black sand at Oneuli Beach Maui is not only visually stunning, but it also has a different texture than typical white sand beaches. It can feel coarser and grainier underfoot, which adds to the unique experience of visiting this beach. It’s important to note that the black sand at Oneuli Beach Maui Maui can get quite hot during the day, so be sure to wear sandals or water shoes if you plan to walk on the sand for an extended period of time. Additionally, the black sand can make the water appear darker than it actually is, so be cautious when entering the water and check for any warnings or advisories posted by lifeguards.
